Day 1: ADDIS ABABA – BAHAR DAR ( DRIVE )

In morning after breakfast drive to Bahirdar through Debre Libanos monastery and Blue Nile Gorge.

Day 2: EXCURSSION IN BAHIR DAR ( LAKE TANA & BULE NILE FALLS )

In the morning after breakfast make boat trip on Lake Tana to visit isolated monasteries. There is good birding in the lush forest surrounding much of the lake. Then drive to the thundering Blue Nile Falls. Along the walk to the falls, birding is excellent.

Day 3: BAHIR DAR – GONADR

In the morning drive to Gondar. Then city tour of Gondar including a visit to the Royal Compound, where enchanting 17th century castles stand. Also, visit Debre Berhan Selassie Church meaning Trinity at the Mount of Light.

Day 4: GONADR – SIEMEN MTS. NATIONAL PARK

Morning after breakfast drive to the jagged panorama of the Simien Mountains National Park, famed for its exclusive landscape, afro-alpine vegetation and unique wildlife, where you may spot the endemic Wallia Ibex, Gelada Baboon troops, Bushbuck, Klipspringer.

Day 5: AXUM – MEKELE

In the morning after breakfast drive to Mekele and on the way visit Yeha temple and Debre Damo Monastery.

Day 6: SIEMEN MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK – AXUM

Drive to Axum Through beautiful escarpment of Siemen Mountains and Tekeze river valleythe grounds of the 16th-century Cathedral of St. Mary of Zion, home of the original Ark of the Covenant.

Day 7: AXUM – SIGHTSEEINGS

Morning after breakfasts explore the city of Axum. Visit the interesting museum in stelae field, the impressive Stelae Fields and also the grounds of the 16th-century Cathedral of St. Mary of Zion, home of the original Ark of the Covenant.

Day 8: AXUM – MEKELE

In the morning after breakfast drive to Mekele and on the way visit Yeha temple and Debre Damo Monastery.

Day 9: MEKELE – LALIBELA

In the morning after breakfast drive to Lalibela and on the way visit some local market and lake Ashenge.

Day 10: LAIBELA – SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast visit Lalibela rock hewn churches, famous for its rock-hewn churches dating back 800 years. This is the most important stop on the historical route and from the air the 11 churches, carved into the rugged mountainside, present an awesome spectacle. Afternoon excursion to the most spectacular churches.

Day 11: LALIBELA – KOMBOLCHA

Morning after breakfast drive to Kombolcha.en route visit the Lake Haik

Day 12: KOMBOLCHA – AWASH

After breakfast drive to Awash National Park & game drive in the park.

Day 13; AWASH -HARAR

In the morning game drives in the park and drive to Harar.

Day 14: HARAR – SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast visit Harar. the old round wall built at early of 15th century by the governor of Harar. Harar is also know to be the 3rd holly pilgrimage centre for the Muslim religion follower. Evening Hyena man show.

Day 15: HARAR – ADDIS ABABA

After breakfast drive back to Addis Ababa.
